What initiatives have you worked on outside of project work that are important to you?

Being a part of the Recruiting Team for our Summer Internship Program was important for me to be involved in because I wanted to ensure that this amazing opportunity was offered to all students. I am passionate about ensuring that diversity, equity, and inclusion is regarded in all of Aminad’s efforts, and it was fulfilling to be a part of a team that eagerly worked towards the same goal.

What do you think makes Aminad a special place to work?

The values of Aminad are genuinely lived out both in and outside the office. Everyone at Aminad is patient, understanding, and willing to lend a hand whenever needed. In the past year that I have worked at Aminad, I can admit that Aminad has helped build me into a better person overall.

Of the Aminad events you’ve attended what has been the most impactful?

One of the most impactful Aminad events I have attended would be the annual Day of Service. It was really wonderful to give back and serve the local DC community. Thank you again to Crowder Owens Food Bank for their warm welcome and offering several projects that we were all able to work on.
