Employee Spotlight:
Edwin Salinas

What project at Aminad has had the greatest impact on you personally and what did you learn?

The current project with U.S. Marine Corps Forces Reserve (MARFORRES) has allowed me to use my skillset to support processes needing improvement. I was unable to create the impact I wanted in my previous position, which left an empty feeling at the end of the day. With my current position and with the team assembled, I have been able to gain perspective from a higher level and implement change. I have learned that the pieces of everyone’s story help put together an incredible picture that allows us to gain insight, so long as we’re willing to put in the time to listen.

What types of work do you look forward to doing at the firm?

I look forward to having my hands on every project the firm has to offer so that I may gain perspective from each one. My overall goal is to be in a position where I can help train the next generation of Aminad professionals with whom I can share my stories and expertise, which should help them gain impactful tools that will help shape them and the company.

What other initiatives have you worked on outside of project work that are important to you?

Working as a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) team has allowed me to exercise my voice and present ideas that are important to the team, which also aligns with Aminad’s core values. Creating an inclusive environment is something Aminad does well and being able to help curate the diverse culture even further within the company has been an amazing experience. I am looking forward to our continued growth in this aspect and the positive impact we make along the way.

What do you think makes Aminad a special place to work?

The people, the projects, the leadership, the events, employee involvement, and transparency all built under the foundation of the company’s core values allow Aminad to be the special place that it is today.
